Rush, haste and hustle. That's my December. I'm trying to slow down in the evenings, making slow plans, dreaming of quite holidays and family time. Dreaming of brighter days and snow. Finding solace in the lyrics of Christmas songs.
It may happen that this is my only post in December or at least before Christmas. So I'm wishing you a very merry Christmas!
It's time to a look at our November. My month in photos shows bright and white but in fact this month has been darker than ever! The met says we've had about 10 hours of sunshine in November this year. And I feel it, unfortunately. We are desperately waiting for Christmas, snow, peace and longer days eventually.
Here is your free printable calendar template for December.
Thanks for all the downloads - this has been a pleasure and I'll try to find the time to create a free printable calendar for 2015 as well.
I've been wanting to do this for so long! I just didn't know how. Until I discovered Animoto. With Animoto you can make videos from photos and video-clips easily and save your life's events in a beautiful and fun way. Animoto is free for personal use with limited features. In the end I needed the Plus plan to get my video done but it's worth it. All plans include unlimited video creation and sharing. My video is actually a little gift for my girls. Thus they are surprisingly delighted about it right now; I figure they will appreciate it even more when getting older. Anyway it’s so much fun to watch this together. My little personal photo essay ♡ Here is what I created. Be sure to have volume turned up. These things are always more powerful with music!
My Friday Finds... a few beautiful lines. Happy Friday you all ♡
Whatever we’ve lost
I think we’re gonna let it go Let it fall Like snow 'Cause rain and leaves And snow and tears and stars¨ And that's not all my friend They all fall with confidence and grace So let if fall, let it fall -Over the Rhine
Sometimes I drift. Feeling tired, uninspired or even a little hopeless. I just thumb through my pictures thinking back all the memories I've captured. Recreating collages, reliving special moments, wasting my time in pictures, getting lost in visual comfort. So here I am again. Sharing some of my favorites.
The haste of October has been incredible. And suddenly it's almost November that will be full booked as well. So we’re here, trying
to remember to breathe. Luckily we've had enjoyable weekends, some calming nights, a few hours here and there to calm down, bake, read and love. Something to hold tight to. In the midst of this all is the simple fact that
things don’t always work out just the way you think they should. Those days may
be frustrating, but I’m thankful I’m here to spend those minutes just
the same. I wish you happy November 2014!
And here is your free printable calendar template for October.
Rain, sneezes and constant yawns. That's all I hear today. My body aches because of all the raking yesterday and I've allowed myself to do nothing today... expect finishing the second novel for the weekend. Also a perfect day for wool socks, hot chocolate and editing.
I'm very happy right in this moment: stirring my soups, spoiling my kids with hugs and kisses, enjoying the lovely October. So we have stepped into fall. Boots and soups are some of my favorite things of the season - unlike my children's. They just don't like soups nor rubber boots. But boots have become essential lately and I'm continuing my crusade with soups. Find my favorite soups on Pinterest!

The birds have started their great escape to the south as well as the leafs are getting fewer... and fewer. I've wandered outside to see the Autumn to take over. This is my favorite tree; my inspirer for digital art during autumn and winter. And as it's pretty darn dark today all I can do is to dream, snooze and edit a little to escape from reality today.
